What is Connect Premium?

It is Pantone’s app upgrade and requires a monthly or annual subscription. Premium includes all of the basic features, plus a dozen added tools to create smarter, more impactful palettes, including Extract, Convert, Color Story, Color Data, Harmonies, Trending Palettes, Color Shades, Export ASE Files, Light & Dark Simulations, and Accessibility Support. Premium also lets you save and share UNLIMITED palettes, featuring 15,000 + in-demand Pantone Colours, for use in all your Adobe® design programs.

How is Pantone Connect different from Pantone Color Manager?

Pantone Color Manager is a stand-alone, single-purchase desktop application. It is being replaced with Pantone Connect, a constantly updated, cloud-based digital platform that supports your design workflow with access to over 15,000 Pantone Colors for use in all your Adobe ® Creative ®Cloud ®programs. As a key difference, Pantone Color Manager requires an export of colour libraries into Adobe®. By contrast, Connect sits within Adobe® and allows you to iterate, search, and convert colours directly within your design files. Pantone Connect makes designing with colour a fast and easy experience. Pantone Color Manager will not be offered and will not receive tech support after 2022.
