We can’t believe it’s been a month already since The Photography Show in Birmingham finished! The Color Confidence team all came together to put on an incredible four days of photo demonstrations, exciting offers, a competition and more, alongside top photo brands BenQ, X-Rite, PocketWizard and ExpoImaging!

Throughout the event, we worked with industry-leading photographers Marianna Santoni (first female Italian Adobe guru and X-Rite Coloratti), Gavin Hoey, Neil Snape, Rocco Ancora and John Clements who each held educational demonstrations at our stand, educating photographers of all levels on our theme for the show: capturing your image, perfecting your colour and displaying your story.

They delved into various photographic topics including consistent colour, perfecting your white balance, the benefits of colour accurate monitors, lighting tips and more!
This was the first year of the WomenWhoPhoto campaign, launched by The Photography Show and The Video Show to highlight inspirational female photographers in this industry. One of our presenters, Marianna Santoni, was featured as a Women Who Photo Ambassador, recognising the work she has done within the industry. Marianna also presented on the live show, delivering demonstrations about lighting!

We also announced the winner of X-Rite’s ColorChecker Passport Photo competition who won an X-Rite bundle worth over £500. Congratulations Manuel!

We were lucky enough to see two of our brands, BenQ and Rotolight, pick up prestigious awards from Photography News! Rotolight picked up THREE awards, including Best on Camera Flash for the NEO 2, and BenQ picked up Best Monitor for the SW320 Pro 32in monitor!

Thank you to everyone who stopped by our stand and watched our presentations. Each year our stand gets busier and busier, and we always love meeting new people as well as seeing some familiar faces. We hope to see you at the next show too!
