RAL COLOURS Wins German Design Award for the Fourth Time!

RAL wins German design award

RAL COLOURS has won the German Design Award for their innovative product and communications design, for the fourth time! This year, RAL was awarded in the "packaging" category for their newly developed RAL CLASSIC K5 packaging.

With its simple and modest design, the RAL K5 packaging conveys the message of RAL COLOURS to combine innovative product design with the reliability of the global design. The matt fan is located in the semi-matt outer packaging and the glossy colour fan in the specially developed high-gloss version.

"This year we are very happy about this top-class award. With the innovative packaging for our RAL CLASSIC colour fans that have been reliable for more than 90 years, we succeed in achieving our vision of 'Innovative and reliability, worldwide,' exactly to the point" says Jasmin Noorani-Thelen, Communications & PR Manager at RAL COLOURS.

The German Design Award is the international premium prize of the German Design Council, honouring innovative products and projects, their manufacturers and designers, which are ground-breaking in the German and international design landscape. The awards seek to credit creative professionals that differentiate themselves through their design quality in the competition.

RAL produce a range of charts, swatches, cards, fans, books and software for the professional and accurate selection and verification of colour for paint, interiors and design projects. The RAL range offers a suite of resources, providing clear numerical notations, ensuring concise and standardised colour communication.
